The Team

DUSTIN RIDDOCH

Dustin Riddochs--I have been intrigued with the refrigeration air conditioning industry since the age of 12 and through a family friend I was able to be included on some of his smaller projects. I officially joined the industry at the age of 19, and after a few years was the second youngest at that time in 2000 to be awarded my Interprovincial Journey person status in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Dustin started out at Frontier Refrigeration–he was there for 14 years. During his time there, Dustin quickly excelled at special projects and learned from Manitoba’s Ultra Low Certified Technician (now retired).

Dustin then became the Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario representative third-party for Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2007, one of the worlds largest manufacturers”. He’s certified in all of Thermo Fisher and PHCbi product lines, including incubators.

He is also listed with NuAire which is a laboratory equipment manufacturer based in Plymouth, Minnesota. Dustin has extensive experience and training through controlled environments growth chambers.

COLLEEN RIDDOCH

Colleen Riddoch hails from a farming community but joined the HVAC/R industry in 2003 as a dispatcher for one of the largest service companies in 2011, she joined the sales team next at a corporate distributor in 2016, to become the acting branch manager.

During her time at the service company, Colleen quickly stepped to the plate and proved that-even as a woman-she could excel and succeed in the industry.

Colleen is proudly known as, ‘when you want an answer about something quickly, you call Colleen.’ She works rigorously at getting her clients’ questions and ‘situations’ met in a timely manner, treating each issue as her top priority. Even if the ‘situation’ may be difficult, Colleen continuously updates her clients to ensure that top notch service is delivered while being open and transparent throughout the entire process.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Colleen lost her last job as a project purchaser/Team Lead at another mechanical contractor. But with Dustin they banded together to start DR LAB WORx INC.
